Dshb Terms Of Agreement

If a customer buys and tests 10 different mAbs from DSHB, it costs 350 $US, compared to about 2000 to 3000 $US for-profit companies. This is an important incentive, which is given, firstly, to the fact that most of the mAbs purchased normally languish in the refrigerator and, secondly, that it allows scientists to test several mAbs with greatly reduced costs. The DSHB is headed by David R. Soll at the University of Iowa. There are currently more than 5000 hybrids in the DSHB collection. [1] DSHB has received hybridomas from a large number of individuals and institutions, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the National Cancer Institute, the NIH Common Fund, and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL). DSHB looks forward to further contributions. First customers must agree to DSHB`s terms of use according to which the products may only be used for research purposes and may not be marketed or distributed to third parties. . . .
